Displaying a custom list view on a Customer record filtered by the customer

edited Jan 3, 2020 1:26AM in Search / Reporting 13 comments

I have a bunch of records that my users would like to see a list of on the Customer record.  They are unhappy that to get to a "Claim" they need to navigate through 4-5 records.  I've explained why this is but still they persist...

So, I was thinking I could create a saved search that would collect all these records they want to see and then display them on a Customer record tab.

The part I'm missing is how to filter the search results by whatever customer is loaded.

I don't even know if this is possible.

Should I be creating a Customer field on all the records I want to display on the customer record and check the record is parent view?  Is that the ONLY way to accomplish what I want?
