How to hide/disable the 'add button' from list/record field type

I´ve created a List/record type custom field for customers, but when the user is adding or editing a customer i want to show only the list content, hidding the 'add button' located beside the field in the form.

only the administrator should be able to add, edit, or delete data from the list.

Any suggestion?
