Orphan Customer Saved Search

Hello,

We have imported into NetCRM customer data from other systems and we want to create an orphan customer saved search that will give us the records that don't have a parent customer and sub customer. We have created a search with sub customer (internal ID none) and parent customer (internal ID none) but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
