NetSuite Calendar (date field) affected by running script

Hello Good day,

        I have a running script in a NetSuite System to automatically compute some values and show the output on a printout. Is there a possibility that my script affects the behaviour of a certain field in the NetSuite system, let say' Calendar (Date Field) of a certain transaction.
        When the script is running, we cannot move the Date from one month to another, using the arrow keys on the Date Field. When I deactivated the script, the Date Field is working properly.

I would like to know what maybe the cause of this behaviour in the NetSuite System.
