STRANGE - CEO Marketing File Cabinet Documents converted to Images

I spent 3 hours on the phone with Customer Support yesterday on this strange problem.  Last Friday morning the CEO of our company could no longer open documents in his Marketing file cabinet - Why? Because they had all converted to images and moved to the images folder. 

My Case #828087

What I have tried and points of interest:

1.  There are 3 people with the CEO role and the other 2, myself included, have no problem opening the documents.  They are there for us.
2.  I, along with Customer Service, reviewed his settings to make sure he had not changed anything to cause the items to disappear or change to images.
