Advanced Partner Center (APC) - Tasks and Custom Records

edited Aug 10, 2025 9:56PM in General 12 comments

Hi all,

I can't seem to see Tasks assigned to Employees in a Case when using the APC role. When I go to the specific URL, I can access the Task record no problem (using the APC role), but when I'm in the Case record, I cannot see any Tasks except those that the APC role created. How can I show all Tasks linked to the Case - would this require custom scripting?

Further, I've assigned the APC role 'Full' permission to a Custom Record, but again, I am unable to see that Custom Record linked in the Case (there are no Employee details in this Custom Record). Accessing the URL directly to a given record of the Custom Record, I get a Permission Violation error, saying that "You need a higher permission for custom record type …" even though I have assigned them 'Full' already.

Howdy, Stranger!
