Ahhh - welcome. I am still having headaches. Here is what you do. Download a utltity called ASAP Utilities (at CNET) and use it to edit out hidden characters and funky symbols that fail the entire import using the TEXT - ADVANCED CHARACTER REMOVAL option (If you decide to go this route I'd be happy to give you some tips).…

You can create a separate role for them and under Set Preferences on that role enter a different email address on the User Profile tab. They then change their role when they need to, go to to the invoice and send it, and then change their role back. Not a great solution but at least it will work.

Check my response in the above thread as well ... you should be using Ozlink ... http://www.ozdevelopment.com/ozlink/shipping/netsuite/default.asp

I don't believe you will find a solution - we had a similar problem with UPS integration where we have two company names but with integration it would only show one company name on the label (and likewise wouldn't hide our name on drop ships - we were cutting the labels). I highly recommend Ozlink for anyone who ships a lot ... it's well worth the extra money. It allows you to ship by FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS in your system, in many cases by just hitting F10 twice. You can also write all sorts of rules and charges back to NetSuite. Here is their link:…

We slow down ALL THE TIME - and it's September - we find reloggin back in to speed it up a little but then it slows back down. Are others still slow. NetAuite has tried to tell me it's spyware on our computer - but it is notthe case.

You have to put Custom: in front of the exact field Name. Works only for custom fields, not default NS fields. Andy

Thanks for your response - I actually do format the column as text and save it BUT if the import fails and you have change something in the file, when you reopen the file the zeroes are gone. You then have to re-type ALL of the leading zeroes. Have you come across this problem?

Thanks everyone for your help!

My employees are saying the same thing ... especially when trying to edit. We've been on NetSuite for several months now and after replacing slower computers I have found out that it wasn't the computers, it was NetSuite.
