  • I think that you have a certain number of days after they inform you of problems to either fix them or explain mitigating circumstances. After that they willl stop listing you as "safe".
  • I'm sure everyone knows it but Google Analytics is pretty excellent for getting more information on your site's visitors: http://www.google.com/analytics/
  • PMZ, That sounds like a great idea. NetSuite should be capable of plain-text emails across the board, including for sales orders, invoices, etc.. I'd suggest opening a support ticket to have an enhancement request opened and then post the number of the enhancement request here. Andrew
  • You can certainly create a form that creates a new lead or prospect in NetSuite. Just create a new Online Client Form (Setup->Marketing->Online Client Forms) and add the fields that you want people to complete. Then you can either link through to that form from your website or create a form on your website with exactly the…
  • Well here's hoping that is part of the campaign to get everyone to implement 3D Secure ASAP, and not a sign that they are actually going to start declining transactions! Who is your acquiring bank, if you don't mind me asking?
  • I've had a confirmation from NetSuite that they will not be implementing 3D Secure before the 2007.1 release in September/October. However Baruch Goldwasser quoted the following message from SecPay: At present the official line from most acquiring banks is that Merchants must support 3Dsecure - they have yet to confirm…
  • I asked if you'd had confirmation regarding the usage_type field because I don't believe that it is required in order to implement 3D-Secure using SecPay or with other PSPs. They will likely just assume an eCommerce transaction unless they are told otherwise - and for my company that is practically the whole issue! It…
  • Thanks for your input geosat. I had seen some of your previous discussions regarding 3D Secure and was also aware of the new restrictions coming soon for maestro cards for some time. I had initially thought that it wasn't going to effect us too badly as we are not doing extensive online payments, but it appears that this…
  • I now have a enhancement request number for the Service Status page: 116529. If we open support tickets and request this enhancement be addressed, I understand that will add 'weight' to the request. Thanks
  • Thanks for the info Fergus. We are suffering from the same problem here. I find it amazing that Netsuite does not have a "Service Information" page where they can at least keep us up to date on issues like this. Even my ISP manages that, never mind a business-critical enterprise application like NetSuite...
  • Thats a great idea Andrew and surely Netsuite would support it, if only to get people off the phones to support! Thanks Ian, I think I'll put a support case in to Netsuite to request they look at it. Assuming they'll take a look at my case within the next 6 months... That's a really useful feature being able to double…
  • It is available in the UK version isn't it? I think that's what we use to track jobs for our customers, with seperate tasks and time tracking for each job. Or are you asking for something more advanced?
  • Ian, We are suffering from the same problem as well this morning. Called our account manager who is supposed to be "looking into it", not heard anything else back though.
  • Does anyone have the UK silver support number? The person who usually deals with Netsuite in our office isn't in this morning...
  • We are back up as well. I called NetSuite on their main number and a very helpful woman I spoke to called back and told me that the problem had been resolved. She said she would email me an explanation for the outage once she had it from the engineers. Will update this thread if I hear anything back.
  • If the customer is registered they can login and go to "My Account" from there they can look at all Estimates and turn them into Sales Orders. We use this feature all the time! I had a look at doing this for our own customers and couldn't quite work it out. If an estimate is sent to a customer, how do they get the estimate…
  • Hi DJ - thanks for getting back. We are not nesting tags in any way - this was just a straightforward use of the tag in a category detailed description. I spoke to someone in support who was able to replicate the problem and was going to write an issue draft to get it looked at. The case number is 614401 if that helps. I…
  • Did you find a WSDK tag to log out from NetSuite? Would you mind posting it here, along with your original question? We need something similar I think and it's helpful if information is left in usergroup posts then people can search for it later. Thanks!
  • The type of DNS change needed is known as a CNAME record. It enables you to point your domain name at another host name instead of at an IP address like normal. You want a CNAME pointing to shopping.netsuite.com for your web site, and it should work. See here and other help articles for more information.
  • This problem appears to have been mostly fixed in Netsuiite 11. It is almost possible to assign a Web Services permission in v11. What I actually had to do was to create a new Role which defaulted to having the Web Services permission on. It doesn't appear to be possible to add the Web Services permission to an existing…
  • It appears that if the client has original "Client Center" role set in their access tab then they can login using web services. However if we create a custom client center with exactly the same permissions, it doesn't work. Really, we need our clients to be assigned to one of our custom customer center roles because it's…
  • We're on v10.6 until Friday I believe - have to see what happens after then I guess. Has any one done this in v11?
  • We are having this problem as well. Is it a requirement to update to the lastest version of the WSDL when it becomes available? I'm not even too sure how to do that in our .NET ASP application, as the basics of it were built by Netsuite's Professional Services people.
  • I'm having a similar problem from a .NET ASP site, so obviously not using AXIS. Does anyone know what the cause of this problem is?
  • Yes - without a new version number and an update to the release notes, how do I know that a problem is fixed unless I keep track of every usergroup thread? I don't necessarily report every problem that I suspect may be a bug, because it is sometimes just a problem with my understanding, so how am I supposed to know when…
  • The best information I've seen is on http://www.netsuite.com/portal/landing/ns11.shtml
  • I agree that this is a really annoying feature of these forms and have added my vote to that enhancement request (for all the good it will probably do...)
  • I usually get users to go to http://www.whatsmyip.org and report the IP address from there, which I then add to the list of IPs on their employee record. In addition the office's external IP is configured in Setup->Company->Company Information
  • Hi Tukutela, We have done this before for submitting information into leads and custom records. I remember having similar problems to you when coding this in PHP. I would check that you are including all of the HTML fields created by NetSuite on the form in your own submission. In particular, try including the "compid",…
  • I certainly would like NetSuite to be up-front about what the vulnerability was and its impact once the fix has been implemented. I feel that the ball is in NetSuite's court for the time being though.
