NetSuite for Outlook Integration 2.0 has now crashed Outlook 2010 on 3 different desktops running Windows 7 Pro (32 and 64 bit).

I am having an awful time with NS for Outlook Integration 2.0 (NSOI2). We simply want it to run on one computer to sync events only! The machine runs Outlook 2010 on W7Pro 32-bit. I can get NSOI2 to start-up after a fresh install and I can even perform the first sync. After a restart, I can never get NSOI2 to start even in…

Incredbly frustrating - how long until you guys fix this?. I built a whole workflow around the ability to use NetSuite for Outlook 2.0. As stated before, it doesn't work and NetSuite knows it. I suspect it will be months or even a year before you fixt it. This is your response to me: Hello, Thank you for contacting…

Lina: Have you resolved this issue yet? Its existence has ruined our plans to use NetSuite as our calendar solution.

So Netsuite for Outlook Integration has killed Outlook on the two machines to which I installed it. I fear corrupting my Outlook file because of the forced Outlook shutdowns. DO NOT INSTALL THIS PRODUCT - NETSUITE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A KNOWN BUG. RIDICULOUS that NetSuite still does not sync to Outlook in a passable…

just subscribing to this thread.

Is there still no access to events in Customer Center? If so, this is awful as the request is so old. You can invite customers to events, but the customer cannot see them. Please allow this feature and vote for it if you are a subscriber.

97039 - I just voted for it.

Did they release the enhancement? If not, is there a work around. I would also like to disable bill and po copying.
-
Sean mentioned that they were "considering" it, but I have not heard anything about a possible release. I anxiously await one.........

That would be a very welcome time sheet update. It takes lots of time here to correct entries for C/D/L on time sheets. I guess that you would first need to be able to classify customers according to C/D/L like you can now classify employees. I didn't realize when I wrote this that you could not classify C/D/L on customer…

that fixed it. thank you.

I don't have the option to remove 'Ref No' - it's very annoying. I can remove anything else. That we lose data every time that we change an amount is also a major problem as we import expense data using Expense Cloud.
-
I just signed up for expensecloud.com. For $10 per month we can handle all the companies reports. The Celigo solution as $1750 per year.

Workaround: 1. Create a period for a quarter or month in the past. 2. NS will automatically assign that period to transactions dated with the respective period's date range. 3. Then as a quick close for transactions in years past, I mark each period to equal a quarter and it closes. 4. Going forward I intend to close out…

What do you mean? Do I have to open tax periods in order for this to work properly?
-
What do you think abou this problem: I just enabled the Accounting Periods feature and created one period (a sub-period) of each quarter back to 2002. For all periods 2011 Quarter 2 and prior, I checked the box equating each quarter and year period to a quarter and a year respectively. Now when I run Income Statemnt…
-
so how does one go about assigning periods retroactively to transactions posted before I enabled the accounting period feature? I imagine that you can do that pretty easily with a script, but is there any danger in doing so?
-
Is there not a way to run income statemtents according to date ranges even if I have periods turned on?
-
we are on accrual

Evan, thanks again for including the change that we discussed, which created the 'transaction' field on the event records. This field, 'transacation', is very useful. I would like to add it to time sheets so that when my employees enter time they reference the Sales Order number associated with their billed hours. I tried…

the upgrade occured like you said. Thanks, Evan.

Evan, I am using Netsuite Small Business with several advanced features that Netsuite grandfathered because we have been a client since the summer of 2001. I mention that because I don't seem to have the opportunities/milestones feature available. Here is what appears in my account: 1. On Phone Call and Task records that I…
-
I do not and I am using the Standard Event Form. Do I have a problem with my account?
-
Excellent, thanks, Evan.
-
That is a great idea. It almost works. When creating a "task" using that method, there is field titled "transaction" that populates with the number of the Sales Order from which I created the task. And the task appears in the Activities tab of the Sales Order. The problem is that the "transaction" field that is on the…

Evan, I would like to be able to display the following fields from the "Related Info" tab of events in a "custom event search": Customer Support Case Transaction When editing the "event search," I don't see any of the above data fields as available columns... Would you advise me on how to add them?
-
Michal in Support helped me to get around this issue. I used Firefox and had to disable a script that applied to invoices. Also make sure to edit the Invoice (proceed through the menu linked to from the word 'Edit' on the right), once you add it to the list of included records.

This is support's response to my post. I don't feel that I should have to document the whole process when we can achieve a better level of communication over a WebEx session. This is an NS error not mine as evidenced by the fact that other also experience the same issue. They just recently resolved the fact that my Balance…

I filed the case.
