This doesn't appear to be working for us. We have multiple addresses for each customer. But unless the "default billing" address is the same as the one on the card Cybersource throws back a notification that the addresses do not match along with the authorization. We are ok with that but the problem is that NetSuite…

Good questions. I'm hoping someone responds
-
apparently nobody imports lead data from outside systems where those leads likely already exist in netsuite. QQ
-
I think we've attached to this issue also. It's really nice to have 50 users not be able to sync. Probably 20 of whom rely on it to get their calendars to their phones.
-
Subscribing to this thread... This Outlook Email integration and Calendar/Task etc integration must only be described as Bad. It causes me no end of grief as it keeps breaking.
-
Is it only the "sync" catagory? Why is it not any catagory that you have set up with the "sync" checkbox checked?
-
I am not sure that this works for other users. I can get them to sync. Also, I find it crazy that you have to edit every record. Is there not a way to mass add certain records to a catagory?
-
ADMIN FAIL! /agree There needs to be a lot more attention paid to stuff like this, especially for mid size deployments.
-
can you give more detail on how you set that up? We have our "consultants" creating a GP calculation script that puts the gross profit in the alternate sales amount on a quote. It's not working yet but hopefully will be done soon.
-
Shameless Bump. Anyone?
-
I guess nobody else does this.
-
Make sure that you secure access to the custom form, and the custom fields. Check that unapproved users don't also have access to the data via a search of that record type.
-
We have the exact same issue. I don't understand why "Payment Method" and "Terms" are seperate. We'd really like to have a "term" that is (25% Down, Net 30). Or, (30, 60, 90) or something like that.
-
Thanks for the response. I posted this in the wrong section. I'll rephrase and repost.
-
There are so many "That's a nice enhancement" when it comes to NetSuite Email email it's not even funny. We're basically giving up on it for now.
-
I would be interested in this as well. I need to check it out.
-
I had this exact same problem. If I am not mistaken it could be that the "customer" field is required and you don't have a unique identifier for it. Sorry but I am a noob myself and was just trying an import yesterday and putting a unique value, or turning on autonumbering seemed to fix it.
-
Raymond I won't hold out on you! It's a common question. The sales order simply is a transaction that records what a customer requested from you. Typically on some kind of purchase order. This transaction could also be called, "what the sales rep thinks she sold". Or you could call it "Sales Booking" Multiple Invoices may…

We have the revenue recognition module, and, we create Quotes that appear to be invoices to the end customer. It works well end to end.
-
Sorry I can't post a long reply. You did a very good job of summarizing the issues by the way... Forsmall amounts of unpaid invoices that we don't want to chase we'll do a journal entry that writes of the remaining amount to a "small amout writeoff" account that we then apply to the invoice. If the customer is paying for…

That is a good thread and most of the issues there are ones we have as well. In our case we want to be able to do this on Opportunities, Quotes, Sales Orders and Invoices. Unfortunately there are a lot of limitiations. Our script is very close with the major exception is that it doesn't handle kits at all. Seems like there…

There are a few reasons why we don't like having to create a seperate company record just to manage currency. - We want to track total # of customers - We do a ton of tech support, we want all cases attached to one record - We do a lot of "jobs" we want all jobs attached to one record - When following up on transactions…
-
Thanks for the update. The email I got on the issue said it was scheduled for "Q3". Concerned I was...

I'll chime in and say that it would be nice if NetSuite could handle eval/demo items. I think the real solution would be to be able to have items that are eval/demo/loan items that don't cause NetSuite to promote a customer/opportunity if they are the only thing on a sales order.
-
Actually this is a bit more of a problem than that. We sell a few items where the Revenue and GP should be split between different departments. NetSuite can't handle it and its a bit of a pain
-
This is confusing. Are you saying my issue has nothing to do with dkim?
-
yes, it is completely separate. Thanks a billion!
-
We got around this by running a client side script on every transaction that calculates gross profit for each line item. We then put that value into the alt. sales amount. There are some limitations in NetSuite to how this all works and so we are still having problems especially as they relate to currencies and costs but…
-
We are having this issue and it's blowing our minds. We are screaming at NetSuite for a solution.
-
We are just finishing up our implementation and I must say that the currency functionality of NetSuite is crap. We have fixed USD Sales Prices, and Costs, but we sell primarily to Canadian Companies. We wanted to have Canadian Sales prices update automatically based on exchange rate. That doesn't work. We want to be able…
