something like to_char({datecreated},'HH24') ErikT.... Sorry! I didn't mean to hijack your post. Looks like you are trying to do the same thing I am. Evan, OK got that part. Now it appears that the {createddate} is returning the Netsuite system server time, not my time zone. Here is my formula : to_char({createddate},…

OK after spending many hours trying to figure it out I finally got it!!!!!!! Here is what I had to do in order to add hours to a date field. 1) get the number of hours broken out into decimals by taking 1/24 2) take the number of hours I wanted to add (or subtract) and multiply that 1/24 3) add that to what ever date field…
-
Youc an with a formula field extract the hour and then use that either to group or filter. Evan, What would be the formula?
-
Ken, I my first thought is to make sure you are hitting "SET" once you enter your criteria into the formula box. Are you doing that but the formula(Numeric) field still is not staying in the criteria list? K.Izer IslandSurf.com / Islanders K.Izer@IslandSurf.com W = 850-244-0451 x 100

K.Izer, Hijack away. I have no experience with formula fields, so I will just sit back and learn. Thanks, I'm still learning too so hopefully this will help you. As of now I have spent a several hours trying to figure out how to add 2 hours to the {createddate} but haven't had any luck. When I do get it I'll post it. Did…

Here are some screen shots of how I set up my search: https://docs.google.com/document/d/14Qo6W9Cto2uTWH_LDF9RE0yH-Fd9GP0Pxac4VYtrkJg/edit?hl=en&authkey=CKqX_ZcP Hope it helps! -- Kelly Izer | Islanders/IslandSurf.com office: 850-244-0451 x100 | cell: 850-830-6425 K.Izer@IslandSurf.com

JonJack, I don't know if you are looking for just PO numbers or actual line items. We have PO's that can have 75+ lines so we built a search that actually looks at the line items on a PO and tells us what PO and line items are still open. First on the criteria tab select 'Use Expressions' Criteria: Type ----------- is…

True and everyone's reports will probably have to be set up differently. I have found that the COGS calculation inside of Netsuite is kind of a black hole so we just set something up that works for us. Our company uses the Average costing method so we have found that for our purposes the report I listed works and I was…

I have created something similar. Check out the Criteria / Results here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AjpWx1X_EtB-dDJIM3dZMmhyTmRQVEotVGRBMXVnS1E&hl=en&authkey=CO6JvZ0E Start from a transaction search.

No problem. Glad it helped!

What that means is that you have to put the Formula in the criteria section but in order to do this you have to say that the formula is equal to something. Check out this screen shot: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pIVz2yG2p1tCdhB1qQRMjuzcIC6BuRmdSh9I-5WJMzk/edit

Check out this post in regards to PO discounts. https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=25260

Thanks pfung, Now, where do I look up that issue? I checked our account and I can look at "Enhancement requests" and ONLY issues that are linked to our account which does not include issued number 210123. Can you please provide me a link to that issue. Thanks

mboyes, Thanks for the tip but I don't even have the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management option activated in out account so unfortunately that solution wont work for me. BUT thanks for the tip.
-
We actually built our own report that looks at items that are on backorder and then shows us if there is any "OnHand" which basically means we received the items since it went on back order. Then we have an inventory manager watching this list and they go out and allocate the available inventory as needed. It's not perfect…

This new design is killing us too! We receive PO's with hundreds of lines on them as well. We used to be able to scan the UPC code on an item and it would place a check mark on the appropriate item on the item receipt and then we could scan the next item etc etc etc. NOW..... the scan process no longer works. We now have…

We use OzLink and so far it has been a HUGE time/efficiency saver. 1) you can map fields for shipping methods. 2) OzLink has a UPS Only version that you can get UPS to subsidize. 3) setup was a breeze 4) We were able to set it up where everything exports from Netsuite (name, address, ship method, weight) and all the user…

You may have to create custom fields for those dates. Here is what we did to handle that situation: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ApBmkGLxxO_Yr_iPt6tFcLPNhYRbfEsPnytLCj93UYs/edit -- Kelly Izer | Islanders/IslandSurf.com K.Izer@IslandSurf.com

You will have to write a formula that takes the quantity - quantity shipped and if they do not = 0 then you have an open like. This also accounts for lines that are partially shipped as well. nvl({quantity},0) - nvl({quantityship},0) - nvl({quantitybackordered},0) = Qty Remaining (NOTE: You'll have to look up the exact…

We're integrated with Endicia as well and everything is working fine. I have a couple of questions: 1) did you make sure that there weren't any "pending print jobs" that are in the Que that would stop subsequent print jobs from executing? (this may sound like a stupid question but this issue has gotten me before!) 2) what…
-
Morvin, Did you happen to ever get a solution for this issue? We just started experiencing this same problem this weekend. For the past 6 months everything was working fine...... then on Sunday our Zebra LP 2844 printers stopping printing the USPS labels out of Netsuite. We can still print the UPS and FedEx labels just…
-
Here is what I found to be an easier way to setup the printing environment on a system versus having to create a .bat file and then associate the printer name etc etc etc and it works on Windows 7. Download a program called PrintFile from this location: http://www.lerup.com/printfile/ Then once it's installed open up a…

We have 3 locations that we fulfill sales orders from and our solution was to have a piece of custom script written that goes through each sales order and assigns a fulfillment location per line level and then we can print sales orders accordingly. The script was written by a company called Celigo and it has been working…

Ajax, We use a company called Celigo that built what they call a 3PL (or 3rd party fulfillment Logic) that integrates Netsuite via web services to any fulfillment center. This logic sends our fulfillment center the order to be fulfilled. Once the order has been fulfilled by our fulfillment center the 3pl then imports the…

OK, I'll make a big sign that says NETSUITE USER GROUP to put on the table so we know who's who. I guess you could always just sit down with someone in there and if they are not there for Netsuite you can say you made a new friend! Mark, I'm not that familiar with the transit systems either. I work with a guy who lived in…

John, Name the time and place and I'm up for happy hour! I'm getting there Monday afternoon and leaving Thursday afternoon as well. Thanks, Kelly
-
Sounds good guys, Well I'll be there at 7:30 if anyone wants to join me. I'll be the guy with a pitch of beer! haha By the way, for an easy way to get from the airport to the hotels in that area check out the BART system. It goes from the Airport and if you get off at the Powell St. station it will put you right next to…

OK I'm not sure when everyone is getting there but I'm getting there Monday afternoon and staying at the Marquis. I know there is a bar and grill attached to the hotel (4th Street Bar & Grill) so if any one wants to meet for a drink and talk about netsuite then how about meeting there Monday night at 7:30. I'm unfamiliar…

I'll be there again this year! I'm not a coffee drinker but I'd be up for comparing notes at some point.

OK everyone IT'S HERE. Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you there. I'll be the guy in the hot pink speedo's and florescent green tee. I will be at these two events though so maybe I'll see some of you there. Look for the guy with KELLY on his name badge, that will be me!…
