We seem to be back to fully functional at this point. If anyone is still experiencing issues, the work around we used to take orders was to take them over the phone and enter them with cash as the payment method, but recorded CC info to bill when the system is fixed.

After filing a case on this, I found out why it was not displaying on the Fulfillment screen. When customizing the transaction forms, someone had relabeled Item as Description in the Column Fields, and unchecked the box to show the Description field in the Sales Order form. Have you looked at Magento? There's a few connectors between NS and Magento (Celigo is probably the most well-known). I am aware of Magento and Celigo, but I haven't done any in-depth analysis yet. I'm working on compiling a list of alternatives first, then I'll start taking a close look at each.
