Hello @Michelle Jabanes-Oracle. While I can answer these questions if you still want the info, let me provide a little more insight first. Our A/R person complained about the speed of the report. Another Admin and I ran this report in our Admin role, with no issues. We have tried a few other roles that resulted in load…

@Leonard Mallare-Oracle You were correct. Another piece of the criteria set-up was discluding the new items. I think I am all set now. Thanks for the pointers.
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle - In Sandbox my system notes are empty. They didn't seem to make the refresh. I will look next week to see if my other criteria are the issue. Thanks again.
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle Thanks for the feedback. I recreated your System and Line notes criteria, navigated to an older PO and added a 3rd line. I would expect my SS to only show this new 3rd line, as I didn't edit the other two lines AND Total is excluded. For some reason my SS returns ONLY the first two lines and NOT the…
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle Your suggestion works great if I just update line data, but not if I update header (body) data. Any suggestions on how to bridge that gap? I assume a CASE WHEN, but am not sure. Thanks again.
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle - Thanks, I will try the filter you mentioned. To answer your question "does this mean that you need all the line items appear in the results when the main line fields are updated on the Purchase Order record?" - yes, that is what I mean. If line details are updated, I only want those updated lines…

@Ivy Lopez-Oracle Thanks for the feedback however, if the Enhancement # you provided was the # you meant to (453622) , that enhancement is "Auto populate Expected Delivery Date column based on PO Due Date". Not quite what I'm looking for. Instead, I want Supply planning to use the Expected Arrival Date on the PO until an…

@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle Good day. I rebuild a new role, per your suggestion. I got the same results as before. Any other ideas? CB
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle No, this is not an item SS, it is a Transaction SS. The field in question is from a joined record (Item Location Configuration : Fixed Lot Size). Also, I'm 99% sure that this role was created before the SS at go-live last year, but I take your point of "no way you can view a field on the record if…
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle _ thanks for the suggestion on the Subsidiary permission, but that didn't help either. As far as accessing the records - the role does not have access to the Item record (on purpose). I point this out because Fixed Lot Size is an Item/Location based field. The weird thing is that this field, itself…
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle Myself and the other user are in different departments. Also, removing my department produces the same results when I switch from Admin to the PCL role.
-
Good day @Michelle Jabanes-Oracle. Per your request, see below. Please keep in mind that both I and my other user have the issue when in the EQI PLC role. When I review the report in the Admin role I have no issues. On the affected user, navigate to his/her employee record. Does the employee's record have department,…

@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle I am on vacation till the 6 of April but can confirm all this when I get back. I have the issue as well with in the noted role (PCL for USA for the record). I don't have the issue in Admin or at least one other role derived from the Shipping Center. What I will have to confirm when I get back is my…
-
Hello @Joy Noreen Magoling - Oracle-Oracle The center type is Shipping. I have at least one other role this this same center without an issue. We do not have any restriction unto the "Restrictions" subtab. Please see below. If there is anything else I can provide, please let me know.
-
Hello @Joy Noreen Magoling - Oracle-Oracle You are correct, when I am in the admin role, and a few other custom roles, I see expected values. However, when I switch to the specific role that my users with the issue have, I see the Error. Your questions got me thinking about how the role was set-up and, through testing, I…
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle I removed the 3 Transaction Type arguments from the Criteria and, you are correct, I received the same results. This field is ONLY on Purchase Orders so false information should not be an issue. Thanks again for your help and patience on this issue.
-
Hey @Ivy Lopez-Oracle no reason to apologize "missing that one". I would have been able to make this work without your help. Having said that, below is my final SS set-up that seems to match exactly with my manual review. Please review the screen shots because while it works, I have one question as to why it works. More…
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle I haven't fully validated my data yet but I think I solved the issue with my 4th line. I realized my issue may be because the SS is look at items with PO's, then vendors for those POs. I will validate my data over the next few days and follow-up here.
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle Thanks for the tip about adding parentheses on the Standard Criteria tab. Please see the requested screenshots below. Also, I did fix the description in the second formula. Same results. Also, here is an example of an item that should be in this list that isn't. thanks again with your help.
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle Looking at my Criteria subtabs (standard and summary) is appears that my "expressions" are not sticking when I save. I set my screens up like you showed, but when I save and then edit, the "Use Expressions" box is unchecked and my and/or tags are missing. I don't think this has been happening all along…
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle Glad to see that worked for you as expected. Also, I don't think Item #2 above is really an issue, because we won't need to drill down anyway. Having said that, I 'm still struggling to see all of my data. Let me reframe the shortcoming and maybe you can point out the flaw in my thinking. Source Data…
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle do me a favor and add a PO for one of those vendors and let me know how the SS reacts. If what I'm noticing is correct, two of those lines will disappears.
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle 1) Yes, these are vendors are on the Vendor subtab of the item records. 2) Understood. I will review and see if there is a way I can make that work in the drill down better. Any suggestions?
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle I was able to review and here are my results. My manual review and the SS you created match for items/Vendors with PO ship lines over a year old. Both reports show 18 parts/vendors. That's great. Here are the two issue I find that I cannot make sense of: 1) Missing Items - My manual sort (and confirming…
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle - I now see the blank items AFTER noticing the "OR" you even highlighted for me on the Criteria/Summary page image. So please don't work on this anymore. I will validate the results I have and respond. thanks.
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle - This does surface the items by vendor that have had PO's placed over one year ago today. Thanks for that. What it doesn't show is item with vendors assigned that have never had a PO placed. For example: the data from a spreadsheet I worked out: The data using the SS: Any idea's on how I can get both on…
-
@Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle Thanks for the feedback Joahnna, but can you detail WHY this requires extensive dev work?? I'm just trying to understand how this could be accomplished. What have you don't in the past that make you think this is a heavy lift?
-
@Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle Makes sense. I will add this to my WF How-To's. Thanks Again.
-
@Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle - That did it. Thanks. Now, how would I have known that? I don't think I have seen "line" (the one before the dot) as a qualify anywhere else in NS, as opposed to "Item", "Record" or "transaction". Thanks for you help BTW.
-
@Dominica Sevilla-Oracle thanks for you feedback, but this didn't work for me either. Only because I forgot a critical piece of our business process. We take ownership when the product gets put on shipment but don't "Receive" it in NS until the shipment lands, several weeks later. Instead, I created a criteria that shows…
