That does help some. Is there a way to get the Last Sales Activity field to show on the customer dashboard? I brought up my Dashboard Customer Form and thought maybe the field would be there and I just needed to check it but no luck. I also found it as a Custom Entity Field but didn't see anything there to help. Thanks Greg

Yep I removed the copy function from my cash sales screen so this doesn't happen again.
-
It was originally done as a sales order as a credit card so we had the sales order, fulfillment, and cash sale. My guy brought up the cash sale and copied that. On the original sales order I now see cash sale, fulfillment, and cash sale. I do not see any fulfillment for this issue and if I look at the item there is no…

I'm wondering if the Refund button from the cash sale will only refund and not return the product but don't want to try it and cause further issues.
-
I actually had typed the wrong function. We use Replenish Location By Transfer Order. Yeah that plan won't work. Greg
-
We use Replenish Location By Transfer Order. So when entering the work orders if there is no stock at the location, the work order would drive us to send stock down. There is no customization helping with it. Yes the basis of these requests would be commitments/backorders. Unfortunately, your third option was more of the…

Thanks for the great answer and all of the detail. Question. What effect would all of these have on supplying stock to the warehouse? With the current settings, as the WOs are created we get transfer order requests so stock is sent to the warehouse. Would any of those options stop that from happening? Thanks Greg
-
Herdi, Yes commitment in the work orders and your scenario is correct. We try to build WO#2 and because of components being used on other WOs and committed to those WOs, we are limited to the amount we can build. But this warehouse is a contract manufacturer so they are building the assembly anyway. We then get the…

Mikko, It's the standard sales center I would like to customize. There are a couple things I would like to do. First I'd like to setup some items with Special Work Order Item so when the sales department enters an order, the work order is automatically created. But I don't want them to have access to be able to create…

Yeah I see our logo in the file cabinet but on the forms it is not showing.
-
We were just able to log in. Hopefully it keeps working.

How do you report it when NetSuite is down? Can't get in to SuiteAnswers.
-
Same for us too.
-
Whatever you are doing is making it worse NetSuite!!!
-
Still issues for us too.
-
Same here. Driving my users crazy.
-
We've tried doing it that way and it just doesn't work. I'm surprised somebody hasn't written something to compliment NetSuite for industries like ours that uses price breaks for items that vendors sell. Very disappointed in NetSuite in this area.
-
Yeah I had found that but for the amount of business at our counter, the cost is too high.
-
Would be nice if you could do it in Analytics. Greg
-
Thanks but I would rather have 1 list with both customers for a sales rep that purchased and those that didn't. I ended up creating a saved search of my customers and then another of their transactions for the year. I exported those to Access and created a query there that would do it. Greg
-
Thanks for this!! I was trying to do a saved search to find BINs with multiple items in it and was not having any luck. Following Maan got me there and then I just tweaked it a bit. Greg

So we had an order fulfilled on Feb 28th and then packed and shipped on Mar 1st. COGS was Feb 28th and the sales was Mar 1st. Having that turned on would have changed the fulfillment to Mar 1st and both would have hit on Mar 1st. Is that correct? We already have a workflow (or it might be a script) automatically creating…

I was doing some more searching and I found this setting. We currently have it turned off. Would turning it on make the COGS and sales hit GL on the same date? Update Transaction Date Upon Fulfillment Status Change
-
We have a few orders that post the COGS to one day and the sales to another day. The problem is that the fulfillment date is what posts the COGS and the invoice date is what posts the sales. With your setup you said you fulfill on one day and generate the invoice but date it the next day. For both COGS and sales to hit on…
-
Actually they are changing it to "shipped" status the day they are shipping it which is why it's not hitting the GL for income until the day after it is fulfilled. I've changed the setting to update the date and just checked the GL impact on the truck shipment fulfillment and it shows but with the posting set to no so I…
-
Our president doesn't even like them occurring on different days. Greg
-
We do have a script that automatically invoices after item fulfillment is marked shipped. Normally we don't have an issue but sometimes we have large orders that have to go out by truck and need specific customer labeling. Those tend to ship the day after they are fulfilled. I've set the "Update Transaction Date Upon…

This is something I could use too. The company that did our implementation use purchase contracts but that's a pain because you always have to select the contract. It's not too bad to import the prices though. I just need quantity prices like on the selling side. I'd love the warning during purchasing of where the next…
-
I too need to enter prices by the vendor and item. The quantity schedule is useless for our company. I can't believe that it has not been added in all of these years. If I knew how I would create a SuiteApp to do it. There is definitely a need for it. The company that implemented our system used purchase contract prices.…

I'm having the same issue as the original poster so searched and found this post. The thing about doing it the way mlumangaya suggests is I cannot use the date range at the bottom of the report since the dates are hard coded into the report. I need it to work correctly so my people can use it without customizing. Greg
