Hi! I would suggest submitting a case to NetSuite Support for this query as it seems to be quite specific. This is so that Support will be able to test and look further into the commitment behavior considering the specifications of your account.

Hi Martha! This is a current system limitation logged under Enhancement: 112294 Transactions > Inventory > Adjust Inventory > Require approval before an inventory adjustment affects the company records or books.
