I know this might sound "crazy" but if you have your own controls, why not turn credit checking back on and give a credit limit very out of range and with terms like net365, then turn back on NetSuite controls to make the field available? I have seen worse...

David, No unfortunately

I tried both an Item search with transaction data as well as a transaction search including Item Name. For the transaction search I used Criteria: Type is any of Cash Sale, Invoice Main Line is false Shipping Line is false COGS Line is false Tax Line is false Date is within previous one year Results: Item : Name Group…
-
Evan, I have tried both a transaction search as well as a customer search. Both only have the Amount (or in the case of customer search Transaction:Amount) summed. No groups defined. Unfortunately the search name is not showing in the dropdown for the customer entity record.
-
Further update... After reading the help I noticed this was not available for Item Custom Fields so to try using this technique I created a transaction search summing Amount and Filtering on Customer Mainline: Name/ID. When I went to create the customer Entity field and went to select the new search it is still not showing…

I was originally floored that this could be done so I immediately created and item search looking at the total sales that the item had (transactions of invoices and cash sales). I summed the Transaction Quantity and aded name as the filter. Unfortunately I then created a custom Item Field and went to validation and…
-
Evan, Tried support and eventually (after 3 days) found that I needed to specify the Internal ID on the filter in order to have it appear on the list of available searches to use. Thanks, John

Once a transaction is applied to the sales order (in your case the PO) you cannot go back to pending approval. You CAN delete the PO and then you should be able to set back to pending approval.

Netsuite does not support kits on stand alone cash sales or invoices. You can ring them separately and use a promotion record to discount down to the sales price. A second option is to use assemblies instead of kits but you would have to build the assembly to create the inventory as well as reduce the individual items…

Similar to what Olivier said, we have specific customers (and customer channels like Amazon and eBay) where we do not want our fulfillment email to go to the customer. On the customer record we created a DoNotEmail custom field and when we build the customer record or import from Amazon and eBay, we place the email address…
-
My guess is that the custbody_field is not defined for the transaction record type you are trying to update. Check the definition of the custbody field? Again, this is just a guess...
-
On the saved search you are using, on the results tab is the check box checked to "Run Unrestricted"? If yes, to the right should be the number of records to display.
-
Paul, I think you mean the field name you see on the help when you click the field name? That is only available to Admins on the dialog per se BUT when a non-Admin clicks on the field, expand the dialog box and the url contains the same field ID. Example the field on a sales order: Field ID: handlingcost In URL:…

Just checking to see if you ever figured out how to add an unsubscribe link to marketing emails.
-
We have seen this also. My best guess is there is a time lag propagating data between server instances. I created a custom field on my vendors yet it was not available to me on saved search criteria for almost 25 minutes.
-
Actually there is. Setup -> Company -> General Preferences - Show Display Name with Item Codes But the side effect is that when people do a global search by Vendor (or Customer, Item, etc) you will only see an ID. I get around it by using the External ID for GL accounts to be equal to the account number. We do the same for…

@kelvin Here is the screen shot from out environment. See attached.
-
kelvin@buckmason.com Yes it does if you base your aging off the Due Date vs Invoice Date
-
And if you set a date in a different period (like February 2019), you would need to make sure the Posting Period is Feb2019
-
If I understand correctly, I believe a standard Credit Memo would do just that.
-
A credit memo will accomplish that. You would need an item set up to use that is not an inventory item. It can then sit as a credit on account until a custom purchases something else.
-
Sorry, I am not a developer and would need to defer to them for expertise.

I would suggest the Advanced PDF and HTML forms area https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/forum/platform-areas/customization/bfo

If there is no change in the system notes where the sales order goes from Billed to Pending either fulfillment or approval, something happened where a user did something wrong
-
Well, you can have multiple Sales on a project. Is there a linked Sales Order on the invoice or under related records?
-
We set our customer to send transactions via email to false. We have separate custom fields for Sales Order, Fulfillment and Invoice and use workflows for all 3 with custom HTML templates
-
You should be able to see the system notes status change it it truly did change. A Sales Order pending approval cannot be invoiced. So either it really didn't have an invoice against that sales order or you would see the resulting status changes in the notes
-
You just do an invoice to effectively create a Debit Memo
-
If you do not use an RMA first, a standalone CM from an invoice assumes product came back. You could use a misc item?
-
If you still have the raw CSV data, I would delete and re-import. When you do, create a new account as an Other Asset (we just use the same as the AR account with a "-C" for clearing. When you import, anything that would normally go to AR, send to the AR Clearing instead. Once done, you would key or import any Open AR…
