Thanks, I will check them out also.

Currently still with RA. Adding another register next week (hopefully) but there is a current bug that is not allowing me to redeem gift cards which is killing me.
-
What is support like for suitePOS?
-
We are going live in 2 weeks with Google Apps for Business and then plan on either the Celigo tool to integrate email into NetSuite or the beta tool that ERP Guru's have. I saw a demo of the Celigo tool at the conference and it was very impressive but we will be looking at both.

Definitely call the folks over at OzDevelopment.com
-
Will not let me load. Says I am not at correct version and best I can get to is 4.4.2...
-
Yes, we can enter both without problems even without custom forms. What fields giving you trouble?
-
May want to verify you are on latest version of OS. Works fine on my iPad. I am on 6.0.1
-
We are an iPad shop (our owner purchased one for every employee) and this is coming from a Windows (former) bigot. We have not found a single thing that we cannot do. Biggest problem was scrolling through some reports and saved searches until we learned the 2 finger scroll. One of our iPhone users let us know about that.…

iPad 2. One quirk I didn't think about was sometimes when you click an option with the mouse (like he home tab on the NetSuite site) it functions normalls but when using the ipad you need to tap a second time.

Like I replied in the PM, when a Non-approved vendor is created, you need a workflow that will automatically make it Inactive
-
Well, If you do not save the record in NetSuite, there is no record to approve.
-
If you happen to already be on 2019.1 or one of the "lucky" ones for tomorrow night, there is a new setting for Workflows. Do Not initiate any New instances or STOP Now (and I really mean it) or something like that...
-
Jim, Is there any field on the quote that contains the logged in user? If you use Chrome, you can use the Chrome plug-in NetSuite Field Explorer. (or when viewing the record in NetSuite, add &xml=T to the end of the URL)
-
The Approver needs to be (I am guessing) on the PO record or reference the join to the Vendor record. Is the Approver on the vendor a single person? Or a group?
-
Unfortunately once a Vendor Credit is saved, it posts to the GL. There is no Status to use to do the approvals. I checked in our SuiteSolution for advanced approvals and it only uses the "standard" PO, JE, SO, Invoice transactions.
-
This has always baffled me that we have native Approvals for Vendor Bills and Invoices BUT no "Pending Approval" type status for the credits against them. A HUGE hole in my opinion. Not sure if "SuiteApprovals" for 2019.1 adds this functionality.
-
Just a hunch but if you set the Ship Via (or might be called Shipping Method) the Carrier is automatically set. Carrier goes way back to when they only had UPS and then added Fedex and the USPS integration. Integrated FedEx and USPS are always "More" for carrier as well as any non-integrated methods
-
Where is the Time Approver field defined? Is that on the Employee record? When creating the PO in unapproved status, are you storing that name there?
-
I HATE hard coding but your workflow could look to see if the Email of the current user is one of your group and add the approve/reject buttons.
-
I did something similar but more detailed. We had a scheduled workflow based on a saved search that would take a Prospect and Make Inactive and set a field Approved by Finance. (similar almost to your credit check needed). We had a custom form that made Credit Limit, Price Level and Taxable as In-Line text and made that…
-
I personally would create a separate field for the "Custom" PO #. If the check box is checked, add the suffix to the document number, otherwise store just the document number. Any view they use could look at the custom field instead.
-
"Pending Receipt" indicates it is approved. You cannot change NetSuites Statuses. If you look at your screen shot, there is a status field there as "Approved"
-
I don't believe you can use a NetSuite group for that. Someone out here correct me if I am wrong.
-
When sending emails from your sandbox, by default they will go to the logged in user.
-
Could you create a second action that is on the Before Submit?
-
I have written Alert Saved Searches based on Transactions that reduce inventory (Item Fulfillment, Inventory Adjustment, etc) and if the item Available is at or below the Reorder point, send the alert. This gives you a real time alert. Could also do a scheduled Item alert to run every morning.
-
You could create a workflow field or a custom field that gets checked when the original email is sent and use that in your workflow criteria to only run when the field is not checked?
-
Check out this suiteanswer. I stumbled upon this a few years back [h=1]"How to set the Customer record's Sales Team to "-Reassign Using Territories" via SuiteScript"[/h] https://netsuite.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/46518/kw/Reassign%20Using%20Territories Note sure if you can access the Sales Rep field in Suiteflow…
-
I may be wrong but I think all notes might be visible from the Customer Record so instead of having to recreate, just view them from the customer. Attached files to transactions are another matter...
