Does anyone know how to access this part of the system?
-
I think it does not help us that when a customer logs into the site it takes them straight to the page that asks them to enter their credit card details. This would annoy me intensely if I was a customer, in fact i would be likely to say "I can't be bothered with this". The system should take the line of least resistance…

FINE BUT WHAT LANGUAGE is the Netsuite system written in it is not php, so what is it?
-
I am just talking about the web site. I have a programme that makes Google Site maps, but it is including session ID's. It has a filter that should exclude them but it does not work with the pages made by Netsuite. The application programmer says:- "What language is your web site coded in? The way you are using variables…

Thank you.

Dear D.J. Well I am not an SEO expert, so I asked some people who claim to be to look at my site and they told me that there were four main problems some I cannot do anything about and I am not sure if their information is correct but this is what they said. 1. "There is no anchor text back to the domain home…
-
You are correct the logo does go back to the http://www.lampspecs.co.uk but this is no good because there is no anchor text associated with it so Google will not count it. The main prooble is that http://www.lampspecs.co.uk and http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/Light-Bulbs-Tubes both point to the same content or page and that is…
-
Good idea except it changes the URL to http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/-nbsp
-
Anyone at Netsuite like to comment on this?
-
Is there any way of suppressing the session ID's I believe that these may be part of the problem. Someone gave me this link http://oy-oy.eu/page/spider/?ua=&url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.lampspecs.co.uk I have tried running it against other Netsuite sites and they all seem to have similar results. there is a really interesting…

We have gone to great lengths to assure the exact same URL is generated for the same page no matter where it is generated from, and have resolved many such URL discrepancies in v11. If you observe the Web store generating two or more different URLs for the same page, that is a bug and we will fix it. If you are aware of a…

Yes it has "Light-Bulbs-Tubes" but if you remove it it makes the tab link to http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/sc.2/.f which is still NOT the home page. I need to make the first tab link to http://www.lampspecs.co.uk how do I do that? The system knows that the first tab is my home page because it is set as so in "Setup…

There are some peculiarities in that area. I cannot understand why a returning customer is not asked method of shipping, it always defaults to the last method used and that is poor.
-
the system storing shipping method in the customer record assumes they want to ship the same way each time and does not pass them thru that part of the checkout process, etc... I have seen this too, have you reported this as a bug?

My whole web site uses the same templates which have been set up in setup website/setup website/ Appearence. Everything else is set at default. New items uploaded today are unafected. If you look on the category page http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/Light-Bulbs-Tubes/Mercury-Self-Ballasted there are two lamps rated at 100W,…
-
No all products in that category use the same templates. So if you look at say ML 250 Watt and MLR 160W they are using the same layout, but they o not appear to be so when you look at the site.
-
Has anyone managed to get this to work, I do not see why it shouldn't in principal?
-
I totally agree. One of my competitors a has a "My Bulbs" button and his customers can save Bulbs they regularly buy to their "My Bulbs". When the customer returns he does not need to trawl the site to find the items he buys on a regular basis he just goes to "My Bulbs" and can order straight from there.
-
I have tried that and the images were updated over a week ago and it is still displaying th old versions.
-
Is there a work around?
-
That's a good idea exccept I haver the small business version and I cannot edit the header.
-
Why do you think that? Do you think that people won't buy from you because you don't offer Google Checkout? I have another website and on that site the only method of payment we take is Google checkout (It is a restriction of the software) and only about 5% of shoppers had a GC account before buying from our site.
-
I used it on a non-Netsuite site and it was brilliant value 1.5% processing and credit for adwords... But 3% no-way it's a white Elephant now I feel sorry for all the people who have spent time and money developing hooks and support for Google Checkout.
-
No go to the Google Checkout help pages, it is all explained there. As long as you site accepts Google checkout, once you have registered your domain you will get the badges in Google Shopping (Froogle as was)
-
Why do we need Google Checkout. We use payment processors what possible advantage do we get by using Google. Google has just announced that they are doubling the commission charges and removing the credit towards adwords? Am I missing something? Do you think people are more likely to buy because they can use Google…

D.J. what happened to this fix? I am now on 11.06 and I still see both the URL's pointing to the same content and http://www.lampspecs.co.uk does not seem to be my one true home page YET.
-
Fantastic, this is great news.
-
Please can you help as we have a duplicate page URL and I cannot seem to stop it and I think it is why we seem to be banned from Google. Our home page is http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/ and so is http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/Light-Bulbs-Tubes I cannot find a way to fix this problem, I can use the URL component to change the…
