In the interim we deleted the Opportunity and re-applied the customer to the relevant subsidiary. In the future we may find that we have a customer in one subsidiary…

Hi Entartes, We effectively utilize both, but your 1- is our issue. We are unable to create the Opportunity Transaction from a Customer who was merged with another (ealier) Customer we've deleted after the merge but before trying to create the opportunity. We can change the lead, just not create an Opportunity.
