Marc That sounds like a NS problem... best file a case. It is my understanding that it should automatically change status to "pending fulfillment" once payment is received
-
We try not to mess with Sales Orders after a fulfillment has occurred... messy, messy stuff. To achieve what you are trying to achieve I would "Close" the sales order and add the back-ordered item to a new order/invoice/sale etc.
-
I don't think this can be done but I'm curious to see if anyone has any ideas...
-
Or you could ship by weight, and give all products the same weight.
-
Having browsed your website it seems that when I try to order 10000 of any product it comes up with the message "This item may be back-ordered." Are you certain about the overage check-box?
-
I think it has something to do with unchecking a box called "allow overage on item fulfillments" but I cannot for the life of me remember where it is found. Try doing a search for it in the help index. Wiz

Very handy to know.. Thanks Brian
-
The sensitivity police changed my topic title. Now it just sounds stupid. "This new layout is rubbish" is more accurate.
-
How can sharing personal information amongst casual staff or contractors safe? I don't want an idiot abroad to know where my wedding reception was held so they can log in and do some integration stuff.
-
And what about your 3rd party add-on dudes that set things up in our accounts? New account for them too? You do understand where I'm coming from don't you? This is a ludicrous feature. Nobody has hacked my account. Why should I suffer because of others' foolishness? Next thing we'll all have to buy a retina scanner with…
-
Does anyone even understand what I've written? Is the English language lost?
-
We expect every individual to have their own login (and thus their own security questions), which is why we use email address as the user identifier. Thanks, -e So when support staff from Netsuite ask for a log in we buy a new license just for them? Cha-ching $$
-
It installs a leprechaun in your browser to ward off evil spirits.
-
So, in typical Netsuite fashion, a post of mine was pulled. Apparently you can't use ALLCAPS or something. Perhaps I asked them to fix a defect, who knows what their beef is? An admin gave me a second warning! I don't recall the first but they are always right. I wonder how many I get? I'd be willing to bet I've solved…
-
Brilliant. No give, all take.

Hi, I guess these questions are part of an ongoing effort to secure our accounts. It's incredible how many users are still using "default" kind of passwords. They are always built the same way, around "test" or "netsuite". Thus, I find these questions improve security, at least a bit. Indeed since 2013.2 we can't Ignore…
-
Now someone is logging in with a certain email address, and being asked questions relating to a different log in! FIX THIS SH!T
-
Why can't we as administrators choose whether to enable this feature or not? We PAY for an extra license for contract work so these questions are completely irrelevant.
-
I think this is the WORST feature ever implemented by Netsuite.
-
Some open honesty would make the frustrations a lot less. We all make mistakes, but most of us are accountable to our customers on said mistakes!
-
Can you let us know what the problems were?
-
So it was well tested before rolling out then? Appreciate you letting us know. Maybe in future alert us to the fact that there may be an issue because something is changing. Id have had the day off if we couldn't trade!
-
And that helps people process sales how?
-
You forgot your closing meow tag.
-
Can't process orders either. Great system this Netsuite thing.
-
I hear we are getting a website that will work without too many hacks. Maybe by the time google glasses take off we'll have decent mobile platforms too... so we'll still only be one platform behind our competitors.
-
Umm well that sounds nice for you folks in the US, here in Australia we lack an explicitly protected form of freedom of speech. So we don't say anything much ;). I tend to let rip.
-
BergerUSA, A key clause = "...or for any other reason deemed necessary". I see you've only got 4 posts. That explains the surprised tone that I detected. NS can and will delete posts. NS can and will ban you. So, if you value the data in here, you'll cow down to the great and powerful Oz. Yes. Bow before me mortals.
-
They are very tolerant. Very. I test that often. Very.
-
It;s just NS updating their crappy coding on the back end and it breaks our customisations. We are hacking each others hacks here people! FFS...
