Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

I can't publish the dashboard from Admin to the custom role as they are using different centre types. Any other suggestions?
-
Thank you - does anyone have a workaround for this?
-
Thank you both very much, this did the trick!
-
Thank you, I just found the time to test this and can confirm the custom field solution did the trick!
-
I just worked out a workaround, posting in case anyone else needs this in the future... I gave the roles access to view the accounts. I then setup a workflow that sets the account related fields on the item to display type = inline, this stops the role from editing the accounts and also removes the checkbox.

Hello, thank you for the input. I ended up creating a custom field on the item record with two statuses, approved and pending approval. Once the item is created a workflow runs and sets the status to pending approval. A workflow runs and emails the approver. A workflow runs and returns a user error if an item is added to…

I just tested and if a user ticks the checkbox on an item that already had accounts assigned, the accounts are cleared out. I am really struggling to understand the logic of this checkbox - we can already assign access to accounts and items by role, why implement a checkbox that overrides permissions without giving the…

Hello, Thank you for your response. I wonder if there is any way to move the field to a subtab? It currently sits right at the top, moving it would at least hide it from plain sight and be less likely for a user to check the box.

Sure, here is the report: This screenshot shows the other fields under the 'Relates to WO' join on the report: This is the saved search:

Hi @Pedro Alegria-Oracle , I am reporting back that all the testing has proved the script solution works well. Thank you again for your help, I would be very very lost without your assistance on this case.
-
@Pedro Alegria-Oracle - you are honestly amazing, thank you! The first part (change to the search) worked perfectly!!! I am testing the script out and will report back with progress. I will accept the answer and just jump back in if I have any follow up's :)
-
The other part to this is the value we are displaying on the sales order needs to also be added to the Invoice and because the field on the sales order does not store the value the invoice field is also blank :(
-
Hey @Pedro Alegria-Oracle Thanks for your suggestion, it is the solution I went with... However, I have just come across an instance where it is not working correctly and I would love your/the community input to see if I can resolve it!! The process was working well for most cases however I noticed in some cases the docket…

Wonderful, thank you Joy :)
-
Ahh okay, let me do some testing. You answered my main question.. What is the field... It is a checkbox :) Thanks very much! I will respond with my findings but I have marked question answered.
-
Sorry, I meant that the value was already populated on the Receipt - the field in question on the PO is still empty. Do you know what that field's expected value is? Is it a qty, is it a checkbox?
-
Thank you! Upon editing the item receipt I see the value has been populated:
-
Screenshots appear to be working now! PO Line: Item Receipt Line: Landed cost template line level (item details excluded) Landed Cost tab on the item receipt:
-
Hello, thank you yes to both of your questions :)
-
Hello @Tigran Shahnazaryan Thank you for your reply! I am unable to attach a screenshot anymore as I get a permission violation which I am unsure how to resolve so I am sorry about that. However, yes we have the template setup on the required items, and yes the template is set on the PO. I can see the Template linked on…

@Tiru Chembeti and @Ivy Lopez-Oracle , I wonder if either of you have had time to kindly review my latest questions above?
-
hello, Thanks for getting back to me.. you seem to be on the right track.. This document is where we read it! https://www.netsuite.com/portal/assets/pdf/ds-ns-supply-demand-planning.pdf

I am also trying to understand more about the preference options. If we choose to have work orders set to released, does that just mean we skip over the firmed step and a planned order is instantly a 'released'/'live'? Are you able to advise the benefits of having a default preference?
-
Can you also confirm if my logic below makes sense? Planned order = suggested order from the workbench, until it is firmed it is just a suggestion and will be deleted/re-suggested each time we refresh the workbench. Planned order with Firmed checked = a suggested order that has been agreed with by a user, it is not 'live'…
-
Hello @Ivy Lopez-Oracle , Thank you for your answer. Are you able to indicate what the recommended process flow is.. Planned, then firmed, then released?
-
I wonder if I should use a workflow to update the value? If so, can someone please advise how I would set it up? I tried to set it up to set the field value but I am not able to find the Item Fulfillment record to source from:
-
Sorry it turns out it is a scripted/custom page! May bad, thanks for helping though!!
-
And to confirm, it does not appear to be included
-
Hello sorry for my delayed reply. I am referring to Item Receipts please.
-
Hi @Tigran Shahnazaryan we are using a custom report pulling from the item. @Niks Blando-Oracle we are wanting to remove results = zero and only see values when it is a positive. As it is a report (view screenshot in first post) I don't seem to have the option to use formula numeric?
