Thank you I think we are going to need a script built by ACS.
-
That is correct on Standard forms the field is not checked to display but the field is actually there as an option, this is a screenshot taken upon customising the standard form: The issue with using either of the fields you suggested is that it is not the same value displayed on the transfer order.. the value shown on the…
-
Thank you all for confirming
-
Hmm that is not always the case, you can create a custom field and leave the 'applies to' checkboxes empty and then go to the custom form and tick the field to show..
-
I worked out the issue, it was because the field was not ticked to appear on the Purchase Order form... We had it ticked on the custom purchase order form but on the custom field it needed to have the 'Purchase Order' box checked.
-
Hello - no set values under Validation & Defaulting" and "Sourcing & Filtering" and after clearing caches re-log out and back in I am still not able to see the field.
-
that is perfect thank you @Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle , I wonder if I can untick that box for all employees or do the need to do it themselves?
-
Hi, thank you for your reply! That did indeed do what I was after. Thank you!
-
Okay thank you very much for checking that for us. I am wondering instead if there is a way to block users from deleting lines on the Sales order?
-
No I did enable the Inventory Count feature in order to work out the field is INVENTORY CLASSIFICATION. Class is different, class is like Location / Department / Class.
-
Yeah it a custom checkbox that is used to notify accounts to invoice and if a sales rep unticks the box or makes changes on the order past a certain point it can have an impact on the accounts side. We are using the workflow to block them unchecking the box but I was hoping to display an error message asking them to…
-
Hmm yes that is what I thought and tested, what I found is because the field is set to inline text the user is not actually able to edit the field.. so the after field edit trigger would not actually trigger the error message.
-
I can see them when I customise the standard form. It seems like my custom form does not have the Field Groups tab and the Purchasing/Inventory field tab - are you able to advise why this would be the case? Standard form: Our custom form we use:
-
I get zero results when I follow your steps of showing all tabs and ctrl F..
-
Next question... If a user did try to edit the field after it has been changed via workflow to Inline Text would I be able to return a user error message?
-
Thank you that is great.
-
Hey yeah I don't believe the answer provided was correct. My understanding now is that it is the INVENTORY CLASSIFICATION field found on the ITEM LOCATION CONFIGURATION and the feature INVENTORY COUNT needed to be enabled.
-
Hello, thank you for helping with this... this is the value displayed on the sales order after it has been created:
-
Thank you I think it is getting closer.. I am now seeing my formula instead of the value expected. Value displayed on Sales Order: I also tried this formula but received the same result (actual formula displayed as result).
-
Thank you the reply! I am still not able to get it as needed. If I do not have any values set under Sourcing and Filtering, I get this error upon trying to save the field: If I set the values I get the error that the field type is not correct: This is the default value I am using: ('{custentitycustengagementactivities}',…
-
Any suggestions on this?
-
I would like to add that I can't get the Internal ID for the Item Location Configuration in an item saved search. Sadly not very logical!
-
With the help of Netsuite Support we worked it out, we needed a sublist action group:
-
So there is no way to publish for existing users without fully replacing anything they have added themselves?
-
What about adding it via the Contact form I don't seem to be able to find the Role on the Contact form itself..
-
We actually decided the user will un-check the box manually. If we change our minds I will try your suggestions. Thanks.
-
Okay so I have now made the contact 'never empty' this stops a Customer. Lead or Prospect being created without a contact. Now I am unsure how to ensure at least one contact listed has a role set to 'Primary contact' Is this needed to be done via script.. no other way? I have never done a script before so if it is the only…
-
Can someone advise how I would implement this script? I need to do the exact same thing.
-
BTW I had to create a second workflow as I don't think the Trigger would work for this as it was set to After Field Sourcing but as the Order is being generated by Suitelet. Perhaps I am incorrect?
-
Hmm yes it actually did! However it is very strange as it is logging on the SO as having populated the field however the field is not populating. Please see below Workflow: When I view the Workflow History log is shows the workflow entered and exited the state, see the log below. Workflow Log WORKFLOWSTART TIMEUpdate…
