Just an email to the person that was assigned in that field. We have a custom field when the template is filled out called 'Project Manager', that references an employee list. I am trying to do this from a saved search level, so the notification is internal to Netsuite.

Thanks for your response. There is only one quote associated with a project. Since there is only one quote with each project, the total amount of that transaction is needed. I see no current way to correlate dollar amount to a project. This will greatly help reporting projected amounts for Projects that anticipate closing…

This was very helpful and I have a similar issue. How far removed can you go from the initial record type? For instance, I am creating an analytics report for all projects. I would like to know the quoted amount (transaction) of that project (related record). Is this possible? Sorry for piggybacking onto this thread.
