Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

@Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle Thanks for this, good to know. The customer is using planned work for other reporting so we cannot disable it, they will have to work with its impact on forecast charges for their time-based rules.

@Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle Thank you for investigating. Unfortunately this does not fix the problem where actual charges on the project did not equal forecasted charges, which are the source of the Revenue Amount for the Revenue Rule. In the end, to Complete the Revenue Arrangement the customer is having to update the…

@Patrick Yes. The revenue plan status showed as In Progress. All the actual plans were Complete, however the Forecast plan was Not Started.

@Clarisa De Torres-Oracle Thanks very much for the response Clarisa! This will assist me with explaining the limitation to the customer. Appreciate it

It might be best to consult with a local tax expert to determine what the required treatment of…

To be honest I am not sure what should happen here from an accounting perspective. When allocating an expense to another subsidiary, when would you want to allocate the tax amount as well? If the scenario is one subsidiary effectively paying the bills of another (such as rent), the tax amount should stay in the paying…

In the end, instead of making the custom segment mandatory system-wide, I made it mandatory on the transactions the customer wanted it to be mandatory for specifically. This resolved the issue, however I was unable to determine the root cause for it.
