  • Daniel, I made the switch as you suggested but got the same result. The task is created and linked to the customer record but not removed from the search so a task is created every half hour instead of just once. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
  • I would like to achieve an automated process to assign tasks to sales reps any time the last contact with a specific customer happened over 30 days ago. I would also like to create a similar work flow that will create a task for sales reps when the last purchase by a customer was over 14 days ago.
  • The search works outside of the workflow. It reports customers for a particular sales person which does not have a current task with the status of "not started" or "in progress" and an LSA older than 30 days.   • I am not sure a fully understand the question . After the workflow creates the task it can be accessed through the activities tab on the respective customer record so I assume the necessary link is there.
  • Daniel, In the work flow I have the set field "company" selected to "contact lead source" under the join column. The task is created and I can access it through the customer record under the activities tab but it will not come off the search results. I will try setting company field to current record.

  • I have not resolved this. Support was unable to help. Their only suggestion was to try using scrpt.
