Ever find a solution here, khultquist ?
-
Haven't noticed this (yet), but a potential fix may be to load the accounting prefs and re-save, to see if that triggers a fix? If not it sounds like support-o-clock.
-
Yes - our reports show no waiting/loading indicator any more, for a few weeks now. I haven't thought to open a case or anything about it yet, since it isn't a huge nuisance - but it is definitely annoying.
-
What was the response MarissaNLStumptown ?

tomas.watz@idg.se that's a bummer...well hopefully the change will help you with this script at least. As for the bigger one, I guess we'd have to take a look at it to be able to offer any suggestions.
-
I'm pretty certain that you're right there, it processes one script at a time rather than merging scripts together. Combining into one should yield you some performance improvements, I'd think.
-
This is a before_submit user event script right? If so, I would get rid of the nlapiSelectLineItem call and, as Olivier says, the nlapiCommitLineItem call, and simply use nlapiSetLineItemValue instead of nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue. That's the pattern I use when I need to do manipulation of the sort you have here, and it…

Same, case created.
-
Case submitted, almost immediately it was attached to: Defect # 400174 - Saving Invoice created from sales order returning Unexpected Error SUMMARY: Unable to save any transaction Alternate Solution: None Your defect has been prioritized as an S1
-
Yep, seems fixed for us now.
-
Same here, our scripts running to auto-create cash sales alerted me to this. I will be submitting a case.

I believe it's as Carl said - in the "Set Preferences" page, there is the following setting: GLOBAL SEARCH CUSTOMER PREFIX INCLUDES LEADS AND PROSPECTS If this is off, then you won't see the prospect in global search results when using the prefix CUS:. If using COM:, I'm not sure what will happen wrt prospects, but this…

Is the "REQUIRE BINS ON ALL TRANSACTIONS EXCEPT ITEM RECEIPTS" setting checked in your accounting preferences? I wonder if when you turned it on, it automatically checked that perhaps, and now it's erroring due to preferred bins not being assigned on all items.

Rafe - same here on the same client's login. I am offsite but I can log into their NS instance no problem, can't load SuiteAnswers though. On my main login I have no issues.
-
One of my clients cannot log in, nor can I access SuiteAnswers on their behalf.
-
Then I'm stumped. Good luck!

If both roles have Sales Orders -> Edit, then it must be something else. Are you trying to edit the same order with each role, or different orders? Is it possible that one of the orders is in a closed accounting period? At my old company I prevented users from editing sales orders after approval by creating a workflow that…

Everything seems fine here (Buffalo, NY - system.netsuite.com)

Not sure if it was mentioned above or if it's clear, but I was told that our Average Cost issue is related to the same defect. So, it not only is affecting On Hand Qty, but Average Cost on some items as well (one of ours is magically showing an average cost of $3,000,000 instead of $3.03 - only on search results though;…
-
ChrisDenison - my last contact was at 10:14 AM EDT, and here was the update: "Hello Alex, I believe this issue is also related to Defect 340092. The Average Cost field although not blank/null shows an incorrect value for this item on an Item Saved Search. As an alternate solution, please use the field Location Average Cost…
-
jwenzer that's what we thought too... We had our case attached to the defect. They're working on our average cost issue too, probably will have a defect for that soon.
-
SteveW21 - nice to know I'm not alone! We don't have phone support, so as soon as you hear anything from them I'd really appreciate any updates!
-
Hmm, that shouldn't be the case...when you create an invoice, you would put all the lines on there for the entire sale. Then you should be able to click "Accept Payment" on the Invoice and enter any amount you wish. Deposits would work if you used sales orders, but they're meant for accepting pre-payment really, as the…
-
For this you'll need to use invoices: create an invoice, and from there you can create two separate payments that together will close out the invoice. Using cash sales won't allow you to do multiple tenders.
-
Thanks John - somehow when I searched on the forums before posting, I didn't see your previous post. I actually started from the assumption that, if need be, I could do the CSV export and re-import, of course. The pain comes from handling all the (potential) multiple contacts and addresses which would be a bit of a pain,…

hemang - do they have a Netsuite-integrated platform now? I wasn't aware that was ready. Or do you mean that you are merely exporting data from NetSuite and manipulating it with Qlik?
-
Would love to hear what others are using as well, we're looking to evaluate BI tools and pick one that works for us by the end of the year. I'm gathering some more specific requirements from our VPs, but if there's anyone out there who can advocate for one service (or type of service) over another, I'd be grateful for the…

Would also love any info here, as we are considering DRP. mchen have you had any success since you posted this?
-
mchen - do you use a 3rd party to do the demand/supply planning, or do you run calculations yourself?
-
Nice, thanks darrenhillconsulting !
