Hello Carl Here, Can you guys fix the MN and PDX listings. Jamie is a friend but he has nothing to do with PDX. The phone numbers are also wrong which explains why I get calls from users wishing to join the MN group.

@"fourthwaveconsulting" would be who I would reach out to with your questions. All of my webstore answers have come from David and his team https://www.fourthwc.com/

I've approached this multiple ways.Ultimately you need to determine your best (useful) means of reporting. If you plan on recording the number of phone calls a rep makes and then analyzing how many are successful (a very useful metric) you can simply add a check box to the Phone call form to indicate Successful contact…

Hey Justin, I've dealt with a similar issue recently using workflow. You might want to reach out to Robbie https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/member/12107-robbie Sounds like your trying to mimic the relationships sublist that shows all the companies a conact is curently attached to. Surprised support cant identify the…

Hi Kirk, While it may bump up against your controls policy my former employers just provided a full access license and let Executive Assistants enter data as if they were accountants. Most accountants can enter data against any employee record. it would still be forced into an approval queue if you have one but it settles…

rvasquez Do they allow you to send any other additional information in the tax call so that you could add a value to indicate the intended taxability? A good tax engine will allow you to send attributes that mean something to your business like this case.
-
rvasquez I work for Thomson Reuters on a product that handles line level overrides. We can Exempt Items normally taxed and Tax Items normally Exempt. For your long term solution go look at OneSource Indirect Tax for NetSuite by Thomson Reuters.…
-
Just making sure. Some users calculate taxes in another system and bring in via API. If Advanced Taxes were not turned on you could make elections at the line level. Unfortunately I think you are stuck with the suggestions your provider is making. Can they handle custom attributes? What I mean is can you send a custom…

You could also explore using Credit Cards on Sales Orders to Hold the Authorized Amount and Create Cash Sales from the Usage of the credit card. NetSuite has a few built in ways to handle these simple scenarios
-
I've worked with them in two accounts. Very easy to work with. Questions?
-
Contact your bank. There are 3 supported merchants in NS right now. See if your bank has a relationship with one of them. PayPal's PayFlow pro is a bit spendy for basic fees and a monthly charge to maintain. My former employer was in the middle of changing to a gateway supported by Wells Fargo (our bank).
-
Hi John You should contact your financial institution to see which vendor they prefer and in many cases have a corporate relationship with. Your fees could be impacted here.
-
Well there it is. The customers in question have multiple addresses associated with them and hence display both "Country" fields. Isolate your results to Ship to or Bill to and you should get better results
-
It depends on what requirements you have. If the territory/region is for all products you can just use a naming convention to sort them out. First thought is you might treat it like a State / Zip combination where territory A "OR - unique user name" and behind the scenes that is configured as a few zip codes within Oregon.…
-
Hi Marissa, Custom records is the only way I make these things work. At Viewpoint they had territory by product which meant 4 reps could show up at the same leads doorstep.
-
It takes a few steps to get this done. First you want to avoid triggering the defaults so the workflow needs to uncheck the Send via Email. Then it needs to use a Send Email action. The custom email address would have be to present on the record. If this sounds very complex you will need a consultant to put it together for…
-
I created just that record to track our outside campaign responses. Not working out very well when you want to tie those transactions to sales. Custom records are great options but i dont recommend going "outside the box" for most if not all NetSuite features. Most common answer to the greatness of NS is that you can…

at Suiteworld they mentioned it was in beta testing three weeks ago.
-
its not a complete solution on its own but Online forms can serve as a bridge to allow outside users to fill out forms and data they dont normally have access to. Also why doesnt every employee have the Employee Center role? its cheap and it solves this problem
-
Ever consider an Online Form?
-
You might look into the Last Sales Activity bundle. Free and could solve some minor headaches.
-
so yeah just like the comments from LinkedIn we have a pretty solid consensus.
-
The effort would be on NetSuite's end. Not for you.
-
probably logic around it being Non-Inventory. If it isn't physical can it really be Manufactured in the typical sense?
-
Who receives the Core directly from the customer? You or your vendor?
-
Obviously i didnt read thoroughly before answering. This is a good question. It wouldn't seem much effort to expose these fields
-
As boilerplate as this may sound try contacting your account rep and get them to schedule a demo with a solutions consultant. Bring them your scenario to use as the demo. That's the best way to confirm behavior is with your own eyes with your own business case
-
Hi Jim Is the drop ship item made as a Kit?
-
Someone else with more experience with physical inventory and kits should weigh in on this before a final decision is made. Kits may be the right approach if we use an INVENTORY ITEM for the actual circuit board and the Core Charge can either be an OTHER CHARGE or NON INVENTORY ITEM. Bundle the two together and sell at one…
