They are both good to have in your fold and hence I think it is about the Genuis of the And vs the Tyranny of the Or. We have warehouses in both Atlanta and Memphis.
-
Looked in the canned reports for Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment. That should be a start.

We are doing this using Kuehne and Nagel out of Memphis, Tennessee. We chose Memphis based on the fact that it was FedEx's main distribution hub, and we wanted to align oursleves with FedEx. Furthermore, looking at the distribution patterns, Memphis would be a lower cost option for our location, and thus far, we have only…

In our case, the pending approval was not enough so we created another trigger but it is similar to what you are suggesting with saved search. When you import the records back in, you import item fulfillments. Those then change the status of the order.

What is the error that you are getting? We are importing these using web services currently and it is working great. I can shed some light here and perhaps a few other area at the same time. It is great watching the computer work.
-
Well, the documentation for the csv import is pretty short. I can't find a sample file anywhere and I am not sure if you can add custom fields to the import. The csv map importing works great for other transactions so I am hoping that Netsuite will roll it out for item fulfillments as well. I have not tried to do CSV…

I am having the same problem but I am doing it on an assembly.

We are integrating with Kuhne and Nagle. Our implementation was a bit more expensive than the click here for free sign-up and I think we will spend about 9K on the integration to their Sarehouse Management System with a combination of Suite-Talk and EDI, but we are having very few if any issues using our 3PL provider. It…

The problem that you describe of intermittently pulling information from your blog is interesting. We have been experiencing a similar problem where the images that are hosted externally to Netsuite are not loading consistently frequently showing broken images on the page.
-
My release preview site does not work at all. I would not get your hopes up. I have been trying to contact Netsuite support for weeks with no response. They have created cases, logged defects etc, but unfortunately that is all they have done and that in and of itself does not do much to solve the problem.
-
We import serialized and non serialized item fulfillments and item receipts using web services.

How about turning on the beta release for those of us who have sandbox accounts significantly earlier so we can test in our actual test environment? I can appreciate the effort that is undertaken for the test, and there is no point in doing so if not used. However in the last instance, I received bad information as to when…

Thank you for your response. The inaccurate information that I received had to do with when I would actually have access. I was given a date, planned accordingly and it was inaccurate. Not a big deal. I have a growingly complex group of customizations running on Netsuite. I integrate with one application to make custom…

A really good improvement to Netsuite could be done in the Content Management side with a guided search of sorts in the various categories similar to what is on a site like this: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=280&name=Intel-Motherboards It would be nice to have various sorting fields that you…

Here was the response I received and the mentioned workaround worked for me , other than it is wider than the rest of my page. Hello Fred, Thank you for contacting NetSuite Customer Support. The problem you are experiencing is actively being addressed by our Quality Assurance and Development teams. We are working to…

I am running 2009.1 as of Friday 3/20. The problem has still not resoveld itself and appears to be left unchanged . I do get an error that is suspect: parent.frames.footer is null or not an object at line 265 in the file transactionlist.nl. I am wondering if this could have something to do with the fact that I am using a…
-
No the problem has not yet been resolved. Nothing works in the parter, vendor, or customer center. It is a really big dissapointment.
-
Why should we have to wait until April to get what we paid for as an advertised feature?
-
I have only tried the workaround in 2009.1. I cannot speak for what would happen in previous or beta versions, although I would be interested to try it in 2008.2 since the problem was only affecting certain accounts.
-
I am not sure what you mean by fixed in two days? According to the information on the issue, the projected fix is for Target Version 2Q 2009 Major Release, or am I to assume that the fix will be sooner than that? I think this is absurd. The Customer Center, Vendor Center and Partner Center are useless without this and this…

Looks like the problem in fact has been resolved and I was alerted by support yesterday that by changing the width from 980 px to 100% in the appearance tab of "set up website" that it displays again. Now I simply have to rebuild my website to look good with a full width display. While I am not thrilled with the solution,…

After some more testing and tweaking, we have been able to successfully get the navigation to show up on a window resize function, however, now that we have the navigation working, it appears that maybe it is hidden since it does not work. Could someone from netsuite confirm that this is a known bug and that this is being…

In my experience, IE is the only reliable browser to use with Netsuite. Every other browser has exhibted bugs.
-
I think it would be helpful to have this setup as a default. One way that we got around it which was a bit clunky was to do a CSV export and update the items. Please add to the enhancement to not only have it for items, but also for assemblies.
-
Kudos to Netsuite for the quick turnaround on this bug. I agree that some sort of administrator message for mission critical bugs with update status similar to the warning that pops up when you logged into your beta account would be a great feature enhancement. I am not sure where you can access a bugzilla type of log that…

This is quite inconvenient. Here we are paying a huge amount annually for a piece of software and an oversight like this is potentially crippling to a business. This is a disaster. I hope you have a fix for it quickly, and we should feel lucky that someone had the incling to post this to the user forum so that others know…
-
This appears to have been fixed..... thanks Netsuite.
-
Thank you for the prompt reponse and attention to this matter, and thank you for posting the update.

You can drill down into the child items of an assembly, or the serialized items for that matter and set the costing method. Under the inventory tab on an item, you will see a field called "Cost Estimate Type"... that you can set to a variety of options. This feature is workgin very well for us and has solved some mission…

This would be extremely useful to place the Customers Part Number in that field. Many large entities want to purchase from their part number and have that part number show up on all packing lists, invoices etc. So this join which would be something along the lines of Customer ID, Item ID, Customer Partnumber would be a…
