The only time I can replicate it is if I forget to change the second CSV import screen to Update (instead of Add). On Add, Internal ID is not displayed for me but is if I select Update1 -

Actually there is. On the custom record, under the Links tab. Select which center(s) you want the selection to be on. Which tab heading (Section) and then the Category.1 -

We just create a single dummy non-inventory item used for quotes (usually for items we do not yet stock) and the sales rep just rekeys into the description field to desribe the proposed item10
