Creating a New Tax Jurisdiction
To create a new Tax Jurisdiction in NetSuite QuickStart Edition, follow these simple steps:
- Click the Ask Oracle button > Accounting > Settings > Taxes > Tax Jurisdictions > Create New.
2. Notice that the default country is United States.
3. Input the State or region where your business has a tax presence, example: Delaware.
4. The system will then automatically generate the jurisdiction name based on the country and the selected state or region, example: United States - Delaware.
5. Click the Create button.
