This is now a defect, prioritized as S3... so don't hold your breath waiting for a fix. The farther we get with the new Netsuite, the more problems we discover. I don't know what pressure they were under to release this, but man, talk about not being ready for primetime.

I hope your eyes hold up! 67% is tinytextworld!

Hello nugkent. You are not alone. There is an ongoing discussion of the problems with the spacing and padding in the new look with a few helpful tips for dealing with it until Netsuite sees fit to fix it. The thread here has some more information :…

Netsuite, would it be possible to float a confirmation that faded after a few seconds in the empty space center screen rather than deforming the whole record?
-
Hi there, we had this same problem, and for a while it was fixable by refreshing the record. That stopped working and we switched the user having the error to using IE and that seemed to work. Please be careful, you may find that even after the label prints correctly, the next label will reprint that same label. Luckily we…

Yeah, the more I think of it, the less needed this feature is. We can tell if a record is saved because it reverts to view mode. If this could just be turned off it would be great. No need to wait for another animation.
-
Yes, if there was a way to turn this off it would be great. It currently prevents payment hold notices from displaying.
-
Yes, there is a defect filed for that, deisouss.
-
Netsuite, please, PLEASE consider giving us the option to revert. I have filed half a dozen cases for defects in the last 3 days, some of them categorized with the dreaded S3, which makes it likely they will not see action for months if not years. All of them are costing us time and disrupting our working day. We have one…
-
Yep, we are seeing it too. Is there a defect we can get attached to?
-
Believe it or not, what you are seeing has been toned down from the preview...
-
Thank you for improving field labeling and giving us the opportunity to have it horizontal again. I hope that you are able to help us with the problem of excessive vertical scrolling as well. Thanks again.
-
After a day of using it, it is both better and worse than I thought. There are certainly some improvements in readability in some areas, but the extra padding and endless scrolling it causes area bigger paint than I anticipated. Using a second monitor in portrait view would have helped, I thought, but then the screen is…

The horizontal labels preference, while helpful, is bugged. In Firefox, the 'totals' box on transaction forms becomes misaligned and huge when the horizontal labels preference is on:

Hi Corey, Yes, it appears that browser zoom helps on the dashboard, but on records it just makes the font tiny while still mangling the layout. Going to 67% zoom approaches the current level of efficiency, but makes the text painfully small. Does anyone know if there is an option to display data in-line with the field…
-
B Douglas - absolutely, the load time is huge compared to last week. Menus take forever to load, also.
-
At first glance, I can only echo the dismay for the incredibly inefficient use of space. My current home page has three things I look at - orders to be approved, a list of tasks, and a KPI portlet. In the new layout, I cant' even see those three things without scrolling. Menus are huge and require scrolling all the way…

Whilst I can understand this is a much better design when viewing it on an iPad in Portrait mode in Safari, no one actually works like that. Widescreen 16:9 aspect ration monitors have been "the norm" now for 10 years. Why oh why would a Cloud-based ERP, used primarily via a web browser on a PC/Mac, change the User…

The data density is really going to be an issue. There is currently no entity or transaction record that can be seen on a single screen without scrolling. This is really a huge issue, and a big time sink. Pull up an item in the new view, and what is currently visible on one screen now takes 2.5 vertical screens. It is…

Ok, reduced screen zoom to 67% and switched from our custom Sales Order form to the Standard Sales Order form. Even at this much of a reduction, it is impossible to view the Total box, customer info fields, etc, at the same time as the items on the order.
-
Yikes! Sorry to hear that. Our System Notes tab on items and all related information disappeared today.... Not supes happy about that.
-
Wow, it's gone. Is this coming back? It would be great if a NS employee could give a heads up as to what is going on with this. It's a pretty crucial bit of marketing that we tried to install, found it borked, and now it's gone. It would be suite to know if it was coming back...
-
Tried to install but got an unexpected error: Unexpected Error Please call NetSuite Support Ticket: h478mutt12acgi8qrxk0p Any help?
-
I know NS is trying to get me psyched, but seeing this message on my home page just doesn't do the trick...
-
Ah. Thank you. Strange that I didn't edit my access, but somehow lost this. Problem solved, thanks.
-
Mostly seems to have been a smooth upgrade. One problem is that I am unable to use some of my Web Sales Order Reports. Nothing in our day to day operations seems to be broken, though.
-
Oh yeah, standards compliant HTML and Javascript. That's a big one.

Hi Phillip, Could you help a guy out and create an enhancement request for an improvement to the announcement of beta tests? We've gotten two erroneous emails stating our accounts were ready, only to find them completely unavailable. Contacting support, we found out our beta won't be ready until October, 1 week before the…
