Multiple assemblies on 1 Work Order

edited Nov 28, 2019 5:41PM in Accounting / ERP 2 comments

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice for a NetSuite implementation.

We are a company that designs and assembles electric wheelchairs. The wheelchairs can be custom configured for an individual user. As the number of different configurations are quite complex, we use an external configurator for this (ConfigureOne).
We would like to achieve that ConfigureOne generates a sales order with all the options for the specific wheelchair (typically somewhere between 30 and 50 options.
Each options is setup as an assembly item in NetSuite. The assembly contains the materials required for that option.
The assembly process is quite similar as in the car industry, basically the wheelchair passes around 10 stations during the assembly.

Howdy, Stranger!
