Snapshot of Serialized Assembly & Effective Revision
I've thought for a while that it would be very useful for the Inventory Detail, within an Assembly record, to show not only the serial number of assemblies on hand but also the revision number they were built against.
With this in mind I've been trying to create a saved search to include this detail, sadly without success. I've also searched through the forum and am surprised not to find anyone with a similar need, or another asking a similar question.
This has got me thinking it's possible I'm totally heading up the wrong track and something already exists out the box, which doesn't involve Sherlock Holmes style investigations, but for the life of me I can't find it!
