Demand planning

edited Nov 28, 2019 3:28PM in Accounting / ERP 4 comments

I have a few questions. Please reply asap as my company is facing difficulty to address demand and supply planning.
[LIST=1]
[*]Demand plan of assembly items carry forward to the demand plan of their components but if we are updating forecast quantity of assembly items, the demand plan of its components are not changing. Why? Is there any way via we can update the components’ demand plan by updating the demand plan of their assembly items?
[*]In addition to above question-- demand plan of assembly items and components carry forward to supply plan of them respectively, but if we are updating demand plan of assembly items, changed quantities are only reflecting in supply plan of assembly items, not in its components’ supply plan. Why?

Howdy, Stranger!
