Approval Button Set Field Value

I have an approval workflow setup and I am stuck on trying to make the approval button set my custom checkbox field to true. I am in Pending Approval state and when I click Approve I would like checkbox to be set to True.

I have a transition from Pending Approval to Approve on the Approve Button, on After Record Submit.

In the Approve state I have my custom checkbox field set to Checked.

Nothing happens when I click approve, and the log says I am still in Pending Approval. A

Any ideas on how to move the wf along from pending to approve and set the field value to T?
