Workflow to auto send statements is NOT possible

"Attaching Transactions and Statements in a Workflow
You can also use the Attachments area in the Send Email action to send/attach transactions in a transaction workflow and statements in a customer workflow. The following are the kinds of workflows you can create by sending/attaching either transactions for statements. You can:
Create a scheduled workflow that runs once a week using a search for any customer > 90 days overdue and sends them an email with their days overdue and attached statement."
So when I tried to create a workflow to do this it did not work correctly. Upon contacting Netsuite support I have been told it is NOT possible.
