Cost aware Netsuite workflow.

Are you capturing workflow process costs? This area of research is called Cost Aware Business Process Modeling.
I work for an organization with a complicated financial delegation policy, which is enforced by a workflow approval process in Netsuite. For example, in the workflow for a purchase order (PO) worth $50,000, it could potentially be touched by up to 4 people, the purchasing office, his supervisor, the supervisor’s manager and the COO. A cost aware business process model would capture the cost of creating the PO based on the time spent completing the form followed by the cost of each person approving the PO.
