Create Sales New Order from the Customer Workflow

Hello,

Trying to create a sales order for the current customer in a workflow.

Idea is to subscribe to this record and have a transition to the next state when the new sales order will be approved.

But it seems to be that we cannot use 'Create a Record' with the transaction type...

I can create opportunity and user will create a sales order from it but I don't see a way to check sales order status in this case...


Any suggestions how to accomplish this?
