Setting start time on event throwing error

When I try to create an event with WF after a custom record is created and try to set the start time from a time field in the custom record, I get an unexpected error.  Anybody else have this problem? (setting event start times from "create record" in WF?  Most other fields source fine, but not start time.:h_a_w:
