Project Task Workflow

Hello all!

I started this project last summer but due to budget & time constraints I had to shelve it for a while.  Now it's a priority and I'm running into a roadblock - here's the story:

I have created a workflow that will create project tasks upon creation of a new project based on various criteria.  So far, creating the project task is not a problem, and is working the way I need it to.

However, I can't seem to trigger the "Assigned To" values with the workflow.  It looks like the required fields are Assigned To, Estimated Work and Unit Cost which I would assume would allow for assignment of a resource.  I've tried entering a number of values for these fields/columns, with no success.  Also, "unit cost" is not an option to set, so I've tried both "cost" and "base cost".  In any event, no luck.
