Problem after turning on one page checkout

We had a very simple workflow that set the class on a sales order that was generated from our webstore.  We just turned on the one page checkout and this workflow does not seem to be working.  The log shows that it is executing properly, but the field does not get updated.  Any ideas based on the workflow as outlined below?
