Client Script Executed Through Workflow Button

I have a workflow that is running on the creation of a Requisition record. In the workflow a button is added. I need to execute a client script when that button is clicked. I know how to do that when you make a button using a user event script but I'm not sure how to do that with workflow. Is there a work around?
