Is it possible to set up a workflow in Netsuite that triggers when a Customer record is updated by a

I tried to write an afterSubmit SuiteScript on the Customer record but this script only seems to be triggered when Employees or customizations make updates to the Customer record.

Is there a way to create a workflow whenever a customer updates their own record?  If it's a flow that needs to be triggered from a Saved Search I'm not sure what kind of saved search.  I was trying to see if there are any clever ways to use the formula field but couldn't figure it out anyways.  Any guidance is appreciated.
