Does anyone already do this in Netsuite?

We currently retail apparel.  With that said we also decorate these garments.  We need a way in NetSuite to be able to tie the decorating to the garment within the order, and somehow be able to filter decorated garments between in stock, drop ship, and decorated (special order).    We are currently running a script that breaks all of our orders into levels based on this, and causes issues with many other features in Netsuite that we can not use and interferes with upgrades each time.  We are looking for an alternative so that orders can run through the system and
