Images on packing slips?

The post office wants us to print stamps on our shipping notes. we are now storing the 1st Class and 2nd Class stamp images in the sales orders. However when I edit "Transaction Forms PDF Layouts" and add a custom element and pick the image a strange thing happens. When I print the packing slip it prints the name of the image instead of the image.

How do I fix this problem?

The name of the imageis the correct image just I want to print the image not the name of theimage.
