Plans for node support?

Based on the direction SDF has been going it seems like it will be rolled out to more code IDEs with every release. In addition, they rolled out a command line interface for Apache Maven using JDK.

Are there any plans for node support? Node is really the tool of choice for JavaScript developers since it is also in JS and we can incorporate other JS tools such as Grunt, web pack or ES5 transpilers. I really want to use ES6 and honestly waiting for Netsuite to support it will also likely be years away. With node I can roll my own dev tools ideally using a NetSuite node based framework and compile back to ES5 using a transpiler.
