Custom Roles And Their Dependency Impact

When importing a suitelet record from an account that has specific roles. I get the error the object referenced audslctrole is missing in the project. So I imported the custom role into the project and the error goes away, but I don't want the project I'm in pushing changes to custom roles so is there a way around this?
