Time billed against project does is not linked to Sales Order
Our process:
1: Create Sales Order (SO)
2. Create Project from (SO)
> Now we have project with predefined tasks linked to SO
3. Track time against project/task
4. By the end of the month approve billable time records
5. Generate Invoice from billed/approved time
Problem:
Invoice is not linked to original SO and SO shows "0" invoiced, knows nothing about invoice, even thought
a) project clearly linked to SO
b) time is linked to project
c) invoice created from time linked to project
Questions:
What are we doing wrong?
How do we link Invoice to SO from the project? If we to create invoice from SO, then SO will know about invoice, but Invoice will know nothing about the actual time. SO is T&M.
0
