"Advanced" Project Tasks < Basic CRM Tasks?

edited Nov 28, 2019 12:26PM in Accounting / ERP 4 comments

Based on the docs, I had high hopes for advanced project tasks... but in key ways, they seem less useful than regular old CRM tasks.

In particular, project tasks don't show up on daily calendars (as basic tasks do) and they aren't accessible to Employee Center users (as basic tasks are).  That means employees can't see what they are supposed to do and can't enter time against project tasks.  How does that make sense?

I was excited about the management/accounting features on advanced project tasks, but walling these tasks off from employees just kills it.

Am I missing something important here?  Or are project tasks maybe not ready for prime time yet?

Howdy, Stranger!
