Ability to create a new project based on a template

I am a newbie, so please forgive if this was asked before...

Anyway, can I set up a couple of project templates (containing a bunch of tasks), and then when I create a new project reference a template so I don't have to rekey all the tasks?

Seems like a simple thing, but I can't find this functionality.
